Whispers in the Breeze
- Softness, nature, healing, seeing
This photographic project began in the summer of 2021, when I wandered along the shores of Lake Erie. What started as a casual pastime gradually became a ritual, a way of staying present and connecting with the environment around me.
During the process of making these images, I found a sense of healing. Walking, observing, and photographing offered moments of calm and helped me regain balance in everyday life.
Through my lens, figures appear small against expansive landscapes, creating an intimate and quiet way of seeing. Most photographs were made outdoors, with soft light and harmonious colors. The seemingly ordinary scenes are intertwined with abstract and cryptic details, functioning as ciphers in a language of meditation and dreamlike textures—inviting viewers to find peace and resonance.
