The work Hush-hush is a photographic project, initiated in the summer of 2019, originally prompted by wandering as a pedestrian through the city’s streets. The work began as a pastime that later evolved into a ritual as a means to connect directly and at the moment with my immediate surroundings. In this work, personal experience and compassion transfigure into gentle conversations between human settlements and Mother Nature. Scenes depicted are seemingly ordinary, intertwined with abstract cryptographic details where the image functions as a cipher, in a language of meditation and dreamlike textures.
